Celebrating Catherine Debut On Nintendo Consoles

Check Out This Catherine: Full Body Puzzle Trailer

Catherine may be one of the most unsettling games of the last console generation, but thanks to the excellent puzzle-based gameplay and the heavy-handed look at relationships, the game is getting new life with the Catherine: Full Body edition on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The trailer below (gameplay taken from the Switch) shows off the atmospheric and creepy puzzles (styled as the main character's dreams) players will navigate through, in the hope of helping Vincent, and possibly his relationship, survive.

Honk Your Way To Victory In Untitled Goose Game's New Co-Op Mode

Everyone's favorite game about an especially mischievous goose is about to get a local, two player co-op mode, meaning double the trouble and double the honks.  As announced earlier this week, Untitled Goose Game will be expanding its player count via a free update on September 23rd.  You can obviously still pick up the game before that update hits, but just know that you'll be a very lonely goose until then.

Survive The Horrors Of Space In Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Off the back of their twin successes, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide and Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Fatshark has decided to take yet another dip into the waters of co-op, first person gameplay.  This time, though, they've left behind the dark, medieval setting of Warhammer Fantasy and flung themselves into the dark, sci-fi future of Warhammer 40,000.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Casting Spells

My time travel spell worked!  Thanks to that musty, old eldritch tome I found in the storage nook, I've transported myself directly into another Friday.  Just imagine, with this kind of power, I could create a never-ending series of weekends full of gaming.  The possibilities are endle-... er, wait.  Actually, I'm just remembering that ever since quarantine began, all my days have started to blend together, so the last week feels like approximately seven minutes of time.  That must mean... I've... got a lot of newt's eyes to clean up.

Serious Sam 4's Release Has Been Pushed To September

It's been a while since we've gotten a full, numbered Serious Sam entry, and while the franchise's hordes of fans (Sammites? Samaritans?) have been very patient in waiting for the upcoming Serious Sam 4, they'll unfortunately have to hold on just a bit longer.  As it turns out, developer Croteam no longer feels comfortable with the original August release date and, as such, have pushed the release to September 24th.

Spitlings Co-Op Stream Recap and Impressions

After playing the tutorial and a few missions, we weren't quite sure what to make of what we were seeing. Spitlings' first impression with the Co-Optimus crew was one of uncomfortableness and uncertainty. Why would someone make a game about spitting on things? What possessed someone to design these little spitting nightmare creatures? But soon as we piled together in an online co-op session of three - we started to feel more and more comfortable with our bodily fluid swapping co-op platforming...

An unending mystery.

Our Weekend In Gaming: The Herobrine Chronicles

Whether it's the survival/building or dungeon crawling/looting variety, the Co-Opticrew just can't get enough of that sweet Minecraft action.  It makes perfect sense, too.  Mojang has built a charming setting over the years, so it's all the better that folks get to enjoy it after a hard week of work.  I'm personally pretty interested in the fan-made Harry Potter mod that's made the rounds recently, so that could sneak into future weekend plans.
