Wii U owners may have been a little disappointed that they’d have to wait for Pikmin 3’s launch later this year, but delaying its release may have been a great choice for Nintendo to make.  As revealed by Satoru Iwata, Pikmin 3 will now have multiple control variations to suit almost everyone’s way to play, among the new features found within the gameplay itself.

Resident Evil 6 may have been a disappointment for the most hardcore Resident Evil fans, but not every game in the series has strayed completely away from that original feel. The demo for Resident Evil: Revelations, which will be hitting the console scene next week, was given pretty decent reviews as a 3DS title.

It was around this time last year that Blizzard unleashed their 3^rd installment to the Diablo series. Coincidentally, Neocore Games recently announced that their own gothic title, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, will release close to the same date.

Many of us here at Co-Optimus were very excited to play Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine this past weekend, writing about our plans to begin co-op games straight away. However, we quickly discovered that Monaco’s initial release was retracted off of XBLA rather quickly by developer, Pocketwatch Games. Many gamers are eager to begin playing as well, so here’s an update on the whole situation from last week.

It seems that Sam Fisher and the gang won’t be making an appearance until later this summer. Ubisoft has just announced Splinter Cell: Black List’s official release date, delaying the game good handful of months than previously predicted.

One week from now, gamers will be able to purchase Sega and Double Fine’s latest title, The Cave, through online stores. It might not be the biggest title this year, but it should pack quite the adventure for co-op players out there.

Who says that the January release schedule is dead?  OK, perhaps it is quieter than usual, but there are new co-op games to be found, if you are willing to look a little off beat.  Dance Magic will be disappearing from the pre-release lists and magically reappearing exclusively on PSN from 8th January.  The game is a Move operated disco simulator that allows 2 player co-op online as well as mysterious collaborative dancing.

After being pushed back a few months, Blood Knights has finally reached its final days of development from DTP Entertainment and Deck 13. Coming this February to XBLA, this Action RPG will kick off the year with a bang on many levels, and for a good price!

The next chapter in the Starcraft 2 sage has finally found its release date! Those that can wait patiently until March of next year will be quite pleased with what they can grab through pre-ordering.

There is an eternal war that has raged since the very dawn of time.  Two colossi throwing boulders at each other like the mythological beasts from The Giant's Causeway - PC versus Mac.  PC won a round when they received the fantastic Borderlands 2 first, but now Mac is on the attack with the game arriving November 20th - FIGHT!

Some things just need a little more time to cook before they’re well done, much like how Torchlight 2 is coming along. Runic Games has decided to officially delay the game’s release to properly balance and polish the final product.

Up until now, Splinter Cell: Blacklist had a more general release date, “spring of 2013” attached to its name from Ubisoft at E3 2012. But after an update on the product’s revised description, the title’s officially release has now been leaked to the public from Amazon UK.

It sure took Valve a long time to get to this point, but now we have an official release date for Left 4 Dead 2 campaign, “Cold Stream”, set to release later on this month.

Anarchy Reigns, the over the top, stylized action game we have come to expect from Platinum Games has finally found a realease date. Platinum announced the date on their Facebook page, which confirms that the game will be released this summer. 

After months of patiently waiting for some sort of news of its Xbox 360 debut, Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson, Larry Hryb, has finally given us some form of relief and announced the long awaited Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition release date, also including a handful of other upcoming XBLA titles along with it.
