Dead Island has received a major patch on the PC, fixing numerous bugs including the dreaded save corruption issue, random freezes in four player co-op, and added an option to disable voice chat in co-op games. There's a whole host of fixes in place, which hopefully means, the team is going full steam ahead on the survival mode DLC which is expected next month.

I've been looking forward to Payday: The Heist ever since it I played it at E3. While it won't wow anyone graphically, the cooperative gameplay is a blast. The downloadable title will feature six different heist scenarios, each built with replay value in mind. There's also an RPG-style leveling system to add to the longevity of the title. It was scheduled to be out earlier this month, but suffered a slight delay. We can now expect it next week. Check out the following video where the guys hijack a truck in a slaughter house. Naughty Dog has announced that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has gone gold and will be available to retailers on November 1st.
